Welcome to Erin's Vintage China Hire, your home for beautiful china at affordable prices. We cater for any event no matter how big or small and will give any event a touch of glamour.
We offer a great service and lots of choice. No matter what your budget we can work out something to suit you. From large weddings to romantic afternoon teas for two, we have something for you.
All of our china is authentic vintage and has been collected over many years. We will work with you to put together a beautiful set of crockery to stylize your event and best of all we will do the washing up too!

How It Works and Prices
Beautiful China, affordable hire
Once you have decided you would like some china, decide how much you need and then contact us. Together we will talk about your requirements and if you would like any particular colour or style, we will then send you a booking form to complete and return to us with details of payment. Payment including refundable damage deposit is by bank transfer.
You then collect the china from us at a mutually agreeable time. The china will be carefully wrapped carefully to prevent damage during transit. After your event, wrap the china back carefully and return to it to us. We do the washing up and return your deposit once the china is checked.
Below is a guide to our hire prices, the more you hire the cheaper it is. However we will always try and work to your budget, so please do talk to us and see if we can help, we don't bite! We would rather our china was gracing your event than sat on our shelves. We offer packages from as little as 2 to 150 people with everything you will need included and we are happy to make up a package and price to suit most budgets.

Terms And Conditions
Hire is normally for three days but is negotiable at the time of booking.
Payment is by cash and a damage deposit of between £25.00 and £500.00 is required to cover any breakages damages or loss to the hired equipment during the period of hire. Should the cost of damage or loss exceed the damage deposit, the customer agrees to pay the balance. Damage deposit is payable by cheque or cash that will be returned to you at the time of returning. Please be honest about any breakages or damages, the replacement fee is only small as most of my items can be resourced again.
Cups/ saucers/ tea plates- Between £1-£2.50 each
Teapots £5-£18 depending on style
Milk jugs/sugar bowls between £2-£5
Cake stands between £10-20
Teaspoons and flatware 50p
Hire items will be in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks but due to the nature and age of the items patterns and gilt may show signs of wear. All hire items are STRICTLY HAND WASH ONLY. Please DO NOT wash any of the china due to its fragile nature we prefer to do this ourselves, this service is included in the hire charge. Please clean off any food before repacking and we will do the rest. The customer must agree NOT to put any hire items in a dishwasher.
The customer is responsible for any breakages damages or loss of the hired items during the hire period. Insurance against damage or breakage, loss or theft is the responsibility of the hirer. Erin's Vintage China Hire will not be held responsible in the event of any injury or damage caused by the hired equipment during the period of hire.

Our Story
Erin's Vintage China Hire is run by Nina Bayley, a lover of beautiful things.
"I've always enjoyed afternoon tea and whenever I went out for it loved to drink out of exquisite china. For my daughter's 6th birthday, I planned a princess afternoon tea for her friends and wanted them to enjoy using fine china too. However, when I looked into the hire cost, I could not justify the price. So I decided there and then to start collecting china and start a business to make beautiful vintage china available to all, whatever the event and budget even just tea for one. Everyone should be able to enjoy the experience of drinking tea out of exquisite china, the really does taste better! My pieces have come from all over the country and beyond and each has a special memory attached. Some has been inherited and some has been given to me as family heirlooms from friends and colleagues, all pleased that their china is having new lease of life. I absolutely love working with people and beautiful things to help make every event a success."
